About Hoff Engineering Hoff Engineering has manufactured pleated filters since 1958. COMPLETE PRODUCTION FILTER CAPACITY In-house capabilities include: pleating, curing, machining, rolling, welding, metal spinning, painting and coating, plastic core manufacture, injection molding, side-seaming, mold making, hot melt gluing, urethane potting, epoxy potting, media slitting. A complete filter development laboratory combines flat sheet testing and full element performance testing for air and liquid applications. Test fluids include fuels, hydraulic and dielectric oils, coolants, and deionized water. Working with customers and materials suppliers, Hoff Engineering develops proprietary filter media, custom element construction, and job-specific housing designs to optimize filter performance.
