In many of the small towns in northern Michigan, there is quite often an unassuming little roadside bar that serves up a spectacular pizza ... and this is one of those spots! The Sand Lake Bar...

The pizza there is amazing. They pile the toppings on. My favorite is the Ultimate Sport! The staff is very attentive. The ambience is a typical dive bar.

Well, if you have not, tried the Sandlake sports bar lately give it a try again. New owner foods amazing atmosphere is great but most of all the place is clean clean clean kudos to the new owner...

Classic up north bar. Perch is great. Beers are cheap. My only complaint is they only accept cash. No credit cards.
