Sacred Heart Rehabilitation Center, based in Memphis, Mich., offers a more than 110-bed residential facility for the treatment of adult men and women suffering from alcoholism and chemical dependency. Established in 1976 on a more than 125-acre rural campus, it is approved by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations. Once a client receives his initial examination, an individualized program is established for his treatment, including subacute detox, residential, step-down, opiate detox and stabilization, intensive outpatient and methadone detox treatment. It also offers a variety of specialized services, such as family counseling, psychological evaluations, acupuncture and acupressure, nutritional assessment, and HIV and AIDS testing.
