Richmond Park, established in 1915, is one of the original parks in Grand Rapids, MI. It was generously donated by Rebecca L. Richmond and has served as a recreational area for skiing, featuring a jump and toboggan chute. Over the years, it has become a beloved community gathering place, with a unique pool and bath house built in 1932 by George Welsh, the City Manager at the time. Recently, residents of the west side have organized WinterWest, bringing skating back to the park.
Located at 963 Richmond NW, Richmond Park offers a rich history and a range of activities for visitors to enjoy. From tree planting and park cleanup to tree pruning and invasive species removal, there are various volunteer opportunities available for those interested in giving back to the community. With its scenic beauty and engaging programs, Richmond Park continues to be a cherished destination for both locals and tourists alike.

I love this park. A great hill makes it's fun to explore and easy to get away from other people to be alone.
Nice sledding hill for the winter time! Also a pretty nice sized park with a pond and a swimming pool with a water slide for the summer!
