Qualitor is a supplier of automotive and heavy-duty replacement parts. Based in Southfield, Mich., the company maintains several manufacturing facilities. Through its operating divisions, Qualitor supplies automotive aftermarket components, primarily brake components and wiper blades. It owns and operates several companies, such as Anstro, International Brake Industries, McGuane and Bucyrus. Anstro, located in Wolcott, Conn., is a tier II supplier of aftermarket parts for disc brakes and offers products from several brake component manufacturers, including Dana, Federal Mogul and Morse. Anstro offers backing plates, shims, caliper and attaching hardware. Qualitor is a part of Thayer Capital Partners, which is a private equity investment firm.
