Founded in 1948, Pridgeon & Clay, Inc. is one of the largest independent, value added manufacturers and suppliers of stamped and fine blanked components for the automotive industry. Its diverse product line ranges from headlight brackets and muffler heat shields to motor mounts and more. Each employee is educated, tested and certified prior to participating in the company s full-service approach to design, prototyping, validation and manufacturing excellence. To fulfill its service commitment, Pridgeon & Clay continues to invest in state-of-the-art stamping equipment, including large bed, high tonnage presses for transfer, progressive, and fine blanking processes. Pridgeon & Clay has more than 70 presses ranging in size from 40 tons to 1500 tons. Its customer base is 99 percent automotive including Tier 1, Tier 2, and after-market suppliers. In 1998 Pridgeon & Clay opened its 40,000 square foot manufacturing and distribution center in Franklin, Ind. The company is headquartered in Grand Rapids, Mich.
