Established in 1916, Pretty Lake Vacation Camp is a youth serving organization that provides free camping services. The camp has organized cost-free summer camps for nearly 50,000 at-risk youth from Kalamazoo County. It endows its campers with a range of camping materials, such as clothes, toiletries, bedding, towels, food, basic health care and much more. Pretty Lake Vacation Camp possesses six in post and outpost cabins featuring 22 beds, as well as modern restrooms with showers. The camp is associated with Kiwanis International and Junior League of Kalamazoo.

Camp Millhouse

Established in 1937, Camp Millhouse is a nonprofit organization that provides a variety of recreational and accommodation services for children and adults with mental and physical disabilities. It features heated cabins and an indoor sports arena. It provides recreational equipment and related-programs for campers. The organization offers medication, diet supervision, financial aid, and 24-hour nursing and respite care services. It additionally organizes a range of outdoor activities, such as hiking, nature studies, swimming and camping. The organization also offers off-season rental to churches, clubs and businesses. It is accredited by the American Camping Association. Camp Millhouse is located in South Bend, Ind.
