This is a great place to meet up with friends and take a hike. I really enjoy the trails, the ponds and all of the birds. Got to see a huge turtle as well.

Whenever I need to get in some of my 10,000 steps a day I head to Portman Nature Preserve in Van Buren County. It's close to where I live, large parking lot, and trails that are well marked....
