PohlCat, located in the heart of Michigan, is a championship-style 18-hole golf course played over, and around, the scenic 100-foot wide Chippewa River. The course was designed by former PGA Tour pro, and Mt. Pleasant native, Dan Pohl. There are plenty of similarities between the great PGA Tour courses Dan played and the tough, but fair, design of PohlCat. This design offers players a unique golfing experience by combining beautiful northern Michigan scenery with a links-style feel.

Great way up north feel to this course. Starter was sooooo talkative- had me scared that it was extremely difficult course- it wasn't. Bit of water few sand traps, mostly near the greens....

Immaculate course mixed with a first class intro to the course ... we were greeted in the pro shop and "escorted" to hole 10 where Dan Pohl introduced himself then invited us to warmup on hole 9....
