Peterson Park is a small/quaint park on the north end of the Leelanau Peninsula... It's nicely kept with easy beach access to Lake Michigan, and it's pet friendly. Recommend going early fall once...

Sweet little spot. 115 steps down to the beach. Rocks. Today lots of dead alewives (End of June). Great, clean little bathroom. Nice playground for the kids. Ample picnic tables. Well worth a trip...
