Perry Public Elementary

Perry Elementary School serves more than 500 students in grades kindergarten through five. The school has 21 classroom teachers, two certified reading teachers, one full-time and one half-time special education instructor. Its curriculum includes reading and language arts, foreign languages, science, social studies and math. It also includes classes in art, music, computers and physical education. It fifth grade students received drug abuse resistance education from the city police department. Students are also trained in fire safety by city's fire department. Based in Perry, Mich., the school is a part of the Perry Public Schools.

Perry Middle School serves more than 450 students in grades six through eight. The school offers a range of sports activities, such as basketball, wrestling, volleyball, and track and field. Perry Middle School s facility includes a cafeteria that serves lunch and breakfast to students. Its academic curriculum includes mathematics, science, social studies, reading and language arts. Perry Middle School also offers a range of extracurricular activities, such as band, wood shop, art, computer applications, and health and physical education. Located in Perry, Mich., the school is a part of Perry Public Schools, which also governs Perry High School, Perry Elementary School, the Corcoran Center and Shaftsburg Elementary School.

Established in 1994, Perry High School is managed under Perry Public Schools, and teaches students in grades nine through 12. The school s facility includes a multipurpose room, auditorium and two gymnasiums. The school s curriculum includes academic programs in English, social studies, math, and science. The school offer vocational programs in business, marketing, agriscience and life skills. Perry High School fine arts programs include subjects such as art, band, drama and physical education. It provides various sports programs, including football, basketball, cross country, track, cheerleading, soccer, wrestling, golf, baseball, softball and volleyball. The school s extracurricular activities include National Honor Society, yearbook, Spanish club and student council. Perry High School is approved by the North Central Association of colleges and schools and is located in Perry, Mich.
