History

Beginning as a co-op style half day program, Peoples Church Preschool is one of the oldest early childhood programs in the Lansing area. Under the leadership of the current director, Dana Johnson, the school expanded to a full-day program and grew to include classrooms for infants and toddlers. The school has been accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) since 1998, reflecting the high quality care and curriculum offered to children. We now serve over a 100 families with full time and part time schedules available.

Specialties

Peoples Church Preschool is one of the oldest early childhood programs in the Lansing area. We offer a play-based program with a unique STREAM (science, technology, respecting nature, engineering, arts, and math) curriculum. We are a certified Nature Explore program with a beautiful outdoor classroom for exploration and learning. Our center offers care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years of age, as well as school-age programming in the summer. Contact us for more information about enrollment and availability!

The 2s room at PCP is excellent. The teachers are wonderful. They're patient, loving, creative and fun. We had an excellent experience and highly recommend the program.
