The Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy (GTRLC) is dedicated to protecting significant natural, scenic, and farmlands in Northern Michigan while advancing stewardship for future generations. Since its inception in 1991, GTRLC has safeguarded over 48,436 acres of land, including 157 miles of shoreline, rivers, lakes, and streams.
GTRLC also offers numerous opportunities for passive recreation across its 80 public properties and 126 miles of trails. With a focus on ecological significance and water quality, the organization is committed to preserving the region's critical landscapes and enhancing community engagement through volunteer initiatives and educational publications.
