Trinity Health IHA Medical Group, Urology - Genoa is a urology practice based in Brighton, Mich. with satellite offices in Ann Arbor, Livonia and Ypsilanti. Our board-certified physicians provide comprehensive urological care for disorders of the urinary tract including the bladder, ureter, kidney and urethra as well as the reproductive system in both men and women. Our physicians are highly trained in laparoscopic and laser procedures, urinary incontinence (in both men and women), pelvic floor reconstruction for women, and infertility and impotence treatment for men.

Kristen Upton, CNP, IBCLC, is a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner. She earned her Master of Science in nursing from the University of Michigan. Kristen has more than 14 years of experience in nursing, including time in both surgical and pediatric intensive care units. Her clinical interests include health promotion through positive living choices with an emphasis on exercise and nutrition, in particular for the non-athletic, newly active child. Additionally, Kristen is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) who provides mothers with breastfeeding support and education.

Amy Brode, DO, is a board-certified urologist. Dr. Brode has clinical interests in incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, kidney stones, sexual dysfunction and pelvic pain.
