A trusting working relationship between counselor and client is important and I am committed to achieve that healthy collaboration. I believe that as people become more aware of their thoughts, actions, emotions, and beliefs that they have increased ability to face challenges and overcome difficult situations more successfully.I have over 7 years of counseling experience where I have worked as a therapist and clinical supervisor with individuals, adolescents, and veterans. My theoretical orientation is eclectic, meaning I draw on multiple theoretical orientations during my counseling sessions like, Person Centered Therapy and Solution Focused Brief Therapy. I provide unconditional positive regard and empathy to each client. I like to help my client first by listening to their concerns, help them understand the underlying issue, then providing effective interventions to cultivate positive change.
