Parker-Arntz Plumbing & Heating, Inc is a full service plumbing & mechanical contractor based in Greenville, Michigan. Our office and warehouse facilities are located near major highways and are just 30 minutes from downtown Grand Rapids. Being located near the center of the State gives us the ability to travel in any direction to take care of your plumbing & heating needs. Our current facility was constructed in 1996. Our office & warehouse are constantly being modified to gain efficiencies in every way possible. We are fully computerized and have compiled a vast customer data base containing all the model & serial numbers of the equipment we have installed along with the installation date and warranty information. When you call our office, the information for your home or business is only seconds away and can be viewed on any one of our 8 computers. These computer records tell us when your equipment was last serviced, repairs or checks that were performed and what technician was at your home or business. Parker-Arntz Plumbing & Heating, Inc was established in 1976. Since then, the company has grown from a small residential contractor to a full service mechanical contractor. With over three decades of business in the Michigan area Parker-Arntz is a leader in residential & commercial HVAC, plumbing, service, preventative maintenance, boilers ( steam & hot water ) and medical gas installations. Mike Arntz and Gordon Parker purchased the company, which was previously known as Parker Plumbing & Heating from Frank Parker, Gordon Parker's father. Frank had been in the plumbing & heating business servicing the Belding & Greenville areas since the 1940s. Eventually, Frank reached retirement age and Gordon Parker and Mike Arntz purchased the business. Parker & Arntz remained partners for 20 years until 1996 when Arntz bought out Parker's share of the business. In 1996, Arntz's son, Chad, graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in business. Chad joined the company the very same year. Chad Arntz is now the Vice President and manages the new construction ( residential & commercial ) side of the business. During Chad's tenure, the company has completed large commercial and multi-family projects in over 120 cities in Michigan, including the Western U.P. In 1999, Andy Arntz, another one of Mike's sons, graduated from Michigan State University and joined the business as well. Andy is the Installation Manager / Purchasing Agent for the company. Andy manages the local & out of town crews in the field and makes sure they have the materials & man power they need to provide our customers with the best job possible.
