People for Palmer Park is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the preservation, revitalization, and viability of Palmer Park in Detroit, MI. Good park, has a decent disc golf course. It's flat and open but a decent size for Detroit. Dog friendly on a leash.

I drive by Palmer Park every darn day, just about. How often this urban oasis in northern Detroit beckons as soon as the explosive burst of emerald and jade leaves wash over its lush landscape....

THERE IS A SPLASH PAD! I just discovered this when I was dropping off some books to the Little Library, and it simply made my day. Very nice lush green park. Happy to have it in the community.
