Oswald's Bear Ranch, located just north of Newberry, MI, is the largest bear-only Bear Ranch in the entire United States. Since opening in 1997, it has grown tremendously in size and now houses 40 bears in spacious habitats, providing them with a chance to live comfortably in natural environments.

With a strong commitment to the welfare of abused and neglected bears, Oswald's Bear Ranch serves as both a rescue refuge and an educational facility, dedicated to teaching visitors, especially children, about the care needed to protect black bears and their environment. Through their Free School Bus Field Trips, they offer an engaging and informative experience for youth, showcasing the journey of rescued cubs to adulthood.
