Norton Shores Sewer Department

Norton Shores Water and Sewer Division, a unit of Public Works Department, takes care of all work related to the city's water and sanitary sewer systems. Its water and sewer crews maintains more than 40 sewer lift stations throughout the city, repairs water main breaks, and installs water taps and water meters in newly constructed residential, commercial and industrial buildings. The staff also inspects water and sewer lines, replaces malfunctioning water meters, installs separate irrigation meters when requested, takes quarterly water meter readings in three sections of the city, and monitors water quality standards for the city. The division also keeps current records for the discount on water bills for senior citizens. Norton Shores Water and Sewer Division is located in Muskegon, Mich.
