Both state parks are awesome on Higgins lake. North is a calmer park, more relaxing, family oriented. South is more active, on the lake and when camping

If you have a dog, keep driving!! There is NO place to enjoy the water with your canine. Literally NONE. And they're militant about the rules... The way I see it, I can't leave my dog unattended...
