Cole's Quality Foods was founded as a Grand Rapids, Mich., neighborhood bakery in 1943 by L. Caroll Cole. Wesley S. Devon joined Cole's in the early 1970s and introduced the first frozen garlic bread which ultimately created Cole s frozen garlic bread category of products.
