Mug @ Wirt

History

The Mug@Wirt is a project of The Valley Organization for Improved Communications and Equality for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, also known as V.O.I.C.E., Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit organization specializing in services to the Deaf, Hard of Hearing and other people with disabilities. The agency provides: Sign Language Interpreting Services, Employment Training and Search Assistance, In-Home Health Aides and Advocacy. The Coffee Shop is staffed by employees of the agency who provide job training and employment experience to individual referred to us by Michigan Rehabilitation Services and area Community Health Agencies.

The Mug@Wirt is Bay City's premier gourmet espresso and brewed coffee vendor! We proudly serve only Mystic Monk Coffee - coffee roasted by Carmelite monks in the solitude of the Rocky Mountains of Wyoming. Mystic Monk Coffee can be also be purchased here as dark roast coffee, fair trade organic coffee, flavored coffee, decaffeinated coffee and in coffee blends. Additionally, we specialize in gourmet sandwiches, salads, soups and baked goods!
