SpecialtiesBallroom Sensation is a ballroom dancing studio with locations in down town Rochester (Studio 1 at Retro Fitness) and in Troy (gymnasium at the First United Methodist Church of Troy). Owner and Instructor Karmin Kuehnel has over 20 years of experience teaching, couples and singles of all ages, social and competitive dance. Karmin offers private lessons, group classes, wedding packages, competitions and showcases. She teaches American Smooth, International Standard, Club and Country Western styles of dancing. Foxtrot, ChaCha, Rumba, Swing, and Salsa are many of the popular social dances students choose to learn. Some students take a handful of lessons to get ready for a wedding or social event and others take lessons for many years and choose to make dancing their hobby. For many couples, taking dancing lessons together is a great date night activity. Students have fun, stay fit, meet new people and develop a hobby that lasts a lifetime.
