History

Morning Star started out serving commercial clients (mostly other jewelers) doing repair and sizing, By our 15th year, we had sized an estimated 50,000 rings. In order to serve a growing list of individual customers, we established our storefront in Downtown Petoskey in 1993, where we focus on custom jewelry design modeling in wax and casting using the lost wax process. Through popular demand, we began our line of custom handmade Petoskey Stone Jewelry including, necklaces, bracelets, rings, earrings, cufflinks, money clips, and occasional special order requests, such as bolos or belt buckles.

Specialties

We custom design handmade Petoskey Stone Jewelry, as well as cast and design fine jewelry using lost wax process. Also, we do jewelry repair, including ring sizing, soldering, remounts and stone setting.
