Each year, we reach over 20, 000 people through inspiring performances and educational programs. The 2010/2011 season marks Timothy Muffitt s fifth year as Music Director of the Lansing Symphony. Timothy Muffitt succeeded Music Director Emeritus Gustav Meier, who served as Music Director of the Lansing Symphony for twenty-seven seasons. In its 81st season, the Lansing Symphony is proud to present a wide variety of musical performances, ranging from our MasterWorks Series, which presents world-class guest artists and great works of the orchestral repertoire, to our Pops Series, which each year brings new audiences to the orchestra through popular music and exciting programming. Our Chamber Series, featuring small ensembles performing in intimate settings, brings the music closer to you.
