The Michigan Council of Real Estate Appraisers was created in 2004 with one purpose: to serve Michigan's REALTOR-appraisers through advocacy, benefits, data resources, and educational offerings. MiCREA offers educational information about the appraisal process for consumers, REALTORS, and appraisers, provides a roster of all appraiser members of MAR, gives consumers and REALTORS a searchable database of the state's appraisers, sponsors networking and continuing education events throughout the state, offers an entire appraisal continuing education line-up at the MAR Convention, and provides members with a wide range of appraisal-related data and information links and resources. MiCREA, through the resources of MAR, is also the leading advocate for the interests of Michigan's appraisers in the public policy arena.
