Led by board-certified foot and ankle reconstructive surgeon Dr. Angela Jacob, DPM, D.ABFAS, FACFAS, the practice serves each and every patient with extensive attention to detail.A strong patient advocate, Dr. Jacob focuses on providing patients with the latest advancements in treatment, especially for foot and ankle injuries and plantar fasciitis. She also brings extensive knowledge and incomparable technique to total ankle replacement and revisional foot surgery. At Precision Foot & Ankle Center, patients can expect an excellent bedside manner and individualized treatment.Dr. Jacob, originally from Milton, Wisconsin, received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin in Whitewater. She continued her education at Kent State University in Cleveland, Ohio, earning her doctorate from the College of Podiatric Medicine. During her residency, Dr. Jacob trained extensively at the University Hospitals and Cleveland Clinic during her schooling, as well as at Ascension St. John Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. She now teaches surgical residents in the metropolitan Detroit area.Following residency, Dr. Jacob studied advanced surgical techniques, including minimally invasive surgery and ankle joint replacements. She is especially interested in pediatrics, ankle replacements, reconstructive surgery, complex foot and ankle deformities, and arthroscopic procedures.Dr. Jacob enjoys art, hiking, archery, and gardening when not caring for her patients.
