Obstetrics and gynecology — both the medical specialty and the Physician who provides this care — is commonly referred to as OB/GYN. An OB/GYN deals with reproductive health, including fertility problems, helping women have healthy pregnancies, and healthy newborns. Dr. Holzhei has served as a Family Physician in his hometown of St. Johns since 2003. He also holds a Certified Physician Executive degree and has stepped up in additional leadership roles within UM Health-Sparrow, Sparrow Care Network, and serves on the UM Health-Sparrow Clinton Board.
