Manistee Education Center

The Manistee Intermediate Education Center, located in Manistee, Mich., provides educational, technology and special education programs. The center offers classes in math, science, language arts and social studies. It provides an early childhood developmental delay program for children between the ages of 3 and 6. The Manistee Intermediate Education Center offers programs for students with cognitive and multiple disabilities, as well as a variety of psychological and social worker services. The center s autism program serves students with disturbances in the sequences of cognitive, affective, psychomotor, language and speech development. It additionally offers speech, language and occupational therapies. The Manistee Intermediate Education Center is a part of the Manistee Intermediate School District, which serves approximately 3,700 students in kindergarten through grade 12.
