History

Lotus Home Kitchen was born on a grocery shopping trip. The owner is an enthusiastic food lover, who is nostalgic for the home-made food in her far away hometown. Unsatisfied with the limited local selection of oriental snacks and desserts, she decided to start her own business in her kitchen and shared it with her family, friends and neighbors. Travels around the world, she keeps getting inspired by different authentic local food. She is passionate about food and especially proud of traditional oriental food. Lotus Home Kitchen was born in Michigan and will grow in Michigan. It strives to contribute to and support the local community. Lotus hires full-time moms to prepare the food with their amazing cooking skills. Lotus creates working opportunities that allow stay-at-home moms to develop their own career, share their wonderful food while taking good care of their families. Good Food, Good Life!

The Taste of Home and Nature At Lotus Home Kitchen, we only offer gourmet food collections which we would feed our own family with. The delicious oriental style snacks of Lotus have lower calories than most western style desserts. They are healthier yet just as delightful. 100% hand made from scratch by our loving home chefs, our food may have slight difference in the appearance. All of our recipes only use fresh ingredients directly bought from local grocery stores (e.g. Trader Joe's) and never preservatives or artificial colors.
