Established in 1993, Spectrum Community Services serves the needs of individuals with disabilities and economically challenged with residential options in Berks and Carbon counties in Pennsylvania. Its services include emergency response, housing, respite care, supported living, transportation, recreational and advocacy. It also coordinates educational, vocational, medical, mental health, social and financial services. Spectrum Community Services provides support and assistance to consumers in their own homes. It offers Project ABLE, which provides individuals with one-on-one outings with staff and assists individuals in finding volunteer employment in the community.

The Cass County Council on Aging s mission, as a community supported human service agency and vital part in the aging network, is to assist older adults and those responsible for their well-being. The council attempts to preserve the elderly's dignity and enhance the quality of their lives by providing in-home care, information, support services and enrichment activities. Every year, the council serves more than 6,000 Cass County and non-Cass County residents in Michigan. Leisure enrichment activities include trips, clubs, clinics and services, support groups and classes. Life enrichment activities include workshops, seminars, discussion groups and courses. Direct care services include an adult day service program and in-home respite care services. The council also offers fitness services, such as a fitness room, fitness activities and classes. The Cass County Council on Aging is located in Cassopolis, Mich.

Dunebrook Parent Information Center is an organization of parents and professionals that was founded in 1987. It is a nonprofit organization primarily formed to advocate for children and provide positive family support and education. The center offers a wide range of services and programs to support children with special needs and their families by providing information, peer support, education, and building partnerships with professionals and communities. Dunebrook Parent Information Network is located in Michigan City, Ind., and it is a part of the LaPorte County Child Abuse Prevention Council.
