Located in Houghton, Mich., CopperCountry Mental Health Services provides a wide range of behavioral services to residents of Baraga, Houghton, Keweenaw and Ontonagon counties in Michigan. Its services include emergency services, assertive community treatment, psychosocial rehabilitation, and case management and support coordination. The psychosocial rehabilitation program offers services that include program operation, transitional employment, and social and recreational activities to adult members with persistent mental illness. Additionally, CopperCountry Mental Health Services offers crisis residential services that provides alternative to short-term inpatient services for individuals with serious mental illness experiencing an acute psychiatric crisis.
