The W.K. Kellogg Bird Sanctuary, located in Augusta, MI, is a unique wildlife center that offers conservation-focused public programs, interpretive tours, and accessible trails for visitors to observe captive and wild birds up close. As an important outreach arm of Michigan State University's W.K. Kellogg Biological Station, the sanctuary plays a vital role in promoting research and education in Southwest Michigan.

With a paved trail leading to Wintergreen Lake, visitors can witness hundreds of waterfowl in their natural habitat, including Trumpeter Swans, Canada Geese, and various duck species. The sanctuary also features Birds of Prey enclosures, housing both rare and common raptors, a display of threatened and endangered upland game birds, and a Pollinator Garden attracting hummingbirds and butterflies. Additionally, visitors can explore the Resource Center, offering nature- and bird-related gifts and locally made items.

Perfect for family outings - feed the ducks/geese and the scenery is beautiful year around. Quaint little gift shop and just an all round fun place to go with the family over and over again.
