Kalamazoo County Expo Center and Fairground

History

The Kalamazoo County Expo Center & Fairground has been around for over 50 years. Many improvements to the facilities and grounds have been made over that time. The mots recent being a 35,000 square foot expansion to the Expo Center that was completed in the Fall of 2011. The $3.75 million expansion features a 24,000 square foot exhibit hall that connects to existing exhibit rooms and provides space for large expos and events. A new main entrance and lobby, meeting rooms, restrooms, concession area, 15-acre outdoor festival space and upgrades to existing utilities were also included in the project.

The Kalamazoo Expo Center is perfect for Trade Shows, Expos, Consumers Shows, Seminars, Conferences, Banquets, Receptions, Meetings, Gatherings, Outdoor Events, and Festivals. The Expo Center is a flexible and spacious facility that can assist in making your public or private event a great experience! We are host to over 100 events annually that draw over 275,000 visitors to Kalamazoo and we are easilty accessible from I-94 and US-131. The Expo Center features climate controllled indoor exhibit space as well as outdoor festival areas including event camping. We host events and groups from 25 to 25,000 people. The Expo Center is part of the Kalamazoo County Parks. The office is located inside the Expo Center and is open Mon-Fri from 8am-5pm.
