Jose Valle, MD

Dr. Schnoor obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from Ohio State University and completed residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Illinois Chicago. In the past, he worked as a Hospitalist for Sound Physicians at Good Samaritan Hospital in Washington. Dr. Schnoor has been Board Certified in Internal Medicine since 2013. In addition to his medical training, Dr. Schnoor’s education background consists of research in cardiac catheterization, mentoring first-year medical students and teaching. Dr. Schnoor has volunteered in Mae Tao, Thailand an Maluti Hospital in Lesotho. “My goal is to use my knowledge and passion for internal medicine to deliver the community the best patient care possible. I look forward to getting to know each and every one of my patients”. Dr. Schnoor’s professional interests include cardiology, computer technology in medicine, patient education and preventative medicine, medical education and global health. Dr. Schnoor joined Oaklawn Medical Group and Oaklawn’s active medical staff in January 2015.

Bethany Hoffman received an Applied Science in Nursing from Kellogg Community College, Battle Creek, MI., a Bachelor of Science Nursing from Spring Arbor University and a Master of Science Family Nurse Practitioner from Michigan State University, Lansing, MI. Hoffman’s past background experience includes clinical nurse practitioner in manufacturing and employee health, adolescent/school health and general practice. In addition, she has served in a clinical assistant role at Kellogg Community College. Hoffman joined Oaklawn in 2020.

Dakota J. Yeaster earned his bachelor’s degree in exercise science and his master’s degree of science in physician assistant studies from Central Michigan University. He also attended Jackson College for emergency medical services training and Hillsdale Fire Academy for firefighter I & II hazardous material operations training. His clinical experience includes urgent care for patients of all ages, wound care and closure, excision of skin lesions, biopsies, administration and interpretation of EKG’s and stress tests, joint injections, and as an emergency medical technician. Yeaster’s clinical rotations included mental and behavioral health, pediatric medicine, family medicine, women’s health, internal medicine, general surgery, emergency medicine, and cardiology. Yeaster is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Michigan Academy of Physician Assistants. He also holds a controlled substance license and controlled substances registration certificate. He joined Oaklawn in 2022.
