I come here specifically for their meat or cheese pie Pastizzi. Pastizzi is a stable in Malta similar to the Latin empanada but with a flakey crust. They sell them by the dozen and come frozen....

Always come here when I am in Michigan . Italia Bakery has good bread and they carry Maltese Pastizi. Always a pleasure shopping here.

Don't let the small menu fool you, this place is incredible! The bread makes the ideal sub sandwich bun, and it smells so amazing that I enjoy the hotbox in my car on the way back to Chelsea....

Great little bakery, picked up Pastizzi for holiday party and some cannolis. Very good! They have lots of fresh bread that I'll need to get another time.
