The Detroit Institute for Children (DIC) is a non-profit organization with over 100 years of dedicated service to children with special needs and their families in Detroit and Southeastern Michigan. With a team of more than 80 professionals, the DIC provides a range of services including speech language pathology, occupational therapies, social work, psychological services, and special education consulting to over 5,000 children in schools, Head Start, and early intervention programs. Committed to developing relationships with community-based organizations, the DIC aims to support children with special needs in becoming thriving members of their communities.
