The Icebreaker Mackinaw Maritime Museum in Mackinaw City, MI is dedicated to preserving the legacy of the United States Coast Guard ICEBREAKER MACKINAW WAGB-83, known as the Queen of the Great Lakes and the largest icebreaker on the Great Lakes.
Visitors can explore the ship and learn about its 62-year career of breaking ice on the Great Lakes, as well as its role as a goodwill ambassador in the region. The museum features informative displays and knowledgeable tour guides, allowing visitors to experience the Mess Deck, Captains Quarters, Bridge, Engine Room, Ward Room, Sick Bay, and more.
