The Israelite House of David is a Christian Israelite communal religious society founded in 1902 by Benjamin and Mary Purnell in Fostoria, Ohio, and later relocated to Benton Harbor, Michigan, in 1903. Today, it is managed by Trustees dedicated to preserving its rich history on the original colony grounds along Britain Avenue.

Established in 2021, the Israelite House of David Archives Collections focuses on preserving an extensive array of documents, photographs, and artifacts related to the House of David and its influence on local history and American communal societies. The Archives aim to share highlights from their collections with the public through various research and educational initiatives in the coming years.
