Starting in 1998 in Clinton Township, Michigan, Hannigan Insurance was founded by Brian Hannigan alongside his partner and father Marty Hannigan. Soon after there were two offices were out of Ann Arbor, MI and Clinton Township, MI. In 2014 Hannigan Insurance Agency was awarded a grant from The Michigan Economic Development Corporation for a business expansion and to establish a national call center in the Ann Arbor region, to create 75 new jobs. In April 2015, Hannigan Insurance Agency was moved, from two locations, to one centralized large location in a newly renovated building complex in Ann Arbor, MI where it currently resides.
