The Association for Child Development is a nonprofit organization that educates parents and caregivers on nutrition to promote the development of children and establish healthy eating habits. The association is the largest sponsor of the Child and Adult Care Food Program in the United States, sponsoring child care providers in the states of Michigan and Illinois. It publishes subscription-based monthly children's health and nutrition newsletter, Potpourri, which provides children s health articles, child-specific nutrition information, recipes and fun activities for kids. The association also provides C-K Kids computer software that includes food program planner, food menu planning, record keeping and tax planning.
