Grand Valley State University Aquatic Pool
The Grand Valley State University Aquatic Pool, completed in 1983, features an L-shaped design measuring 25 yards wide by 25 meters long, with six lanes and a depth ranging from four to six feet at the starting blocks. This facility primarily serves the GVSU Swimming and Diving teams for practice, while also accommodating open swim sessions, lap swimming classes, and community programs.
The diving area includes three platforms and two springboards, with a depth of 13.5 feet, allowing for a variety of diving activities. Although the pool meets current Michigan competitive standards, limitations on the starting block depth have led to larger meets and championship events being hosted at Jenison High School.
