We are actively investing from our second fund and are seeking to invest approximately $5 to $7 million over the life of a company, with an initial investment ranging from $1 to $3 million. Our investment professionals have decades of experience within healthcare and entrepreneurial companies as a resource for our companies to draw upon. In addition, our advisory board is comprised of experts in the healthcare field; include the past and current CEOs of two of the largest medical device companies, Medtronic and Guidant.
