Gardner International Magnet School

Gardner Middle School, established in 1962, provides academic instruction to students in grades six through eight. Its curriculum includes computer technology, physical education, the language arts, math, science, social studies and English. Gardner Middle School is a part of the Lansing School District, which also governs other elementary, middle and high schools. The district operates administrative, curriculum, community and management information, personnel, transportation, legal and financial services divisions. The school offers a range of after-school programs, such as health and fitness, food and nutrition, cooking, homework help, Internet safety, character education and team building. The school also provides anger management, esteem building, arts and crafts, academic games and music classes. Gardner Middle School is located in Lansing, Mich.
