FIRST CARE MISSION STATEMENT First Care of Kalamazoo First United Methodist Church is committed to a weekday ministry serving the community. Our nurturing child care environment offers all children the opportunity to reach their full potential in every area of development: emotional, mental, physical, social and spiritual. First Care provides a safe, loving environment for children where the values of caring, sharing and loving are constantly encouraged. Our program also promotes a sense of self and respect for one another. Children ages 6 weeks through 5 years of age are nurtured in our program. The children are divided amongst 5 different rooms within our center. Children move to the next room when the qualified staff and the child's parents feel they are ready. We are limited to 50 children to ensure the best care for your child. Conveniently located in downtown Kalamazoo within the First United Methodist Church, First Care provides exceptional full and part time child care for the children of working parents. All children at First Care go outside everyday, weather permitting, listen to stories, learn to interact and play with other children, and experience independent and group playtime.
