History

Empower Physical Therapy and Fitness began as Aquaticare at 16 Mile and Utica in Clinton Township in 2008. With 2 water-massage beds and an underwater treadmill, patients loved the customized aquatic and physical therapy. By 2012, Raj and his team had served thousands of satisfied patients and it was time to expand. In April, 2012 the second location opened at the corner of Hall Road and Heydenreich in Clinton Township and Empower Physical Therapy and Fitness was born. In addition to traditional physical therapy, they increased their offerings to include occupational therapy and personal training and fitness. The Hall Road clinic was one of the first in the area to introduce the Alter-G Anti-Gravity Treadmill, Redcord and TRX Group Fitness classes. This unique combination of treatment made it a destination for many runners, athletes and amputees. Empower Physical Therapy treats cases from common to advanced and provides excellent results as fast as possible.
