Emily Hope, MS, CCC-SLP

Mikeayla earned her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Central Michigan University located in Mount Pleasant, MI. She joined Oaklawn’s Rehabilitation team in August 2020. She is a licensed speech pathologist completing her clinical fellowship. Mikeayla primarily provides outpatient services to the pediatric population. Her practices include expressive and receptive language, articulation, feeding intervention, stuttering, reading and writing disorders, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). Additionally, she completes dysphagia evaluations for inpatient individuals at the hospital.

At Oaklawn Pediatric Therapy, our goal is to provide family centered, customized care specific to your child’s needs. Our individualized treatment approach is one-on-one. We will evaluate your child’s abilities and difficulties. We then develop a plan to break down the challenging tasks into smaller parts to help them move toward success. We provide Physical, Occupational and Speech therapy for patients from birth to young adult.
