Edward D. Kreske, MD

Beth-Ann Shanker, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon and colon & rectal surgeon. Dr. Shanker has clinical interests in robotic surgery and minimally invasive techniques, colon and rectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, pelvic floor disorders, fecal incontinence and anorectal disorders.

Robert K. Cleary, MD, is board-certified in general and colon and rectal surgery. He has clinical interests in colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, anorectal disease, and minimally invasive surgery, including laparoscopic and robotic techniques. He is program director for the Colon and Rectal Surgery Fellowship program at Trinity Health Ann Arbor Hospital, and is also a member of the faculty of the Trinity Health Ann Arbor Hospital general surgery residency program.

Manak Sood, MD, FACS, is board-certified in cardiothoracic surgery. Dr. Sood has authored a children’s health storybook and is the editor of a textbook on robotic surgery. Dr. Sood presently serves as the head of Trinity Health IHA Medical Group Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgery and is the director of the Center for Robotic Surgery at Trinity Health Ann Arbor Hospital. He is also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Sood’s clinical interests include robotic cardiac surgery, anti-arrhythmia procedures, and conventional bypass and valvular surgery. He is also a strong advocate for teaching young people about the dangers of smoking.
