Double Dragon Karate

History

Brother's Matthew and Andrew Rydell have been studying Korean Tang Soo Do for approximately 20 years and are both 4th Degree Black Belts. Their younger brother Sean is a 1st Degree Black Belt and has been studying for 16 years. They started with Master Dan Cousineau at Dragon Karate and are currently working with Master Jeffrey Bryant of Bryants Isshinryu Karate and Team Fusion. They have been teaching for many years at Dragon Karate, Bryant's Isshinryu Karate, MGCK, Lapeer Community Schools, and have done many demonstrations throughout Michigan. They all hold multiple Championship titles in the MSKC, WKC and WKA . They all feel very strongly that the Martial Arts is a positive way to train the body and mind and that each student deserves to learn in a safe, comfortable and supportive atmosphere.

We offer classes in: Traditional Korean Tang Soo Do, Sport Karate, Weapons, Sparring, and Self Defense in a family friendly atmosphere. Our Instructors help students achieve their goals while focusing on life skills such as self esteem, discipline, respect, and confidence.
