Thank you for your interest in Dexter Community Education. Your satisfaction is our goal. Your comments and suggestions are always welcome. If Dexter Schools are closed for the day or dismissed early for inclement weather, all after school Community Education classes are automatically cancelled for that day. If a late storm prevents announcement of cancellations, use your own judgment regarding attendance. Every effort will be made to make up time lost due to cancellation. I would give no stars if I could. Don't send your kids here. Please. Send them to a charter school, homeschool them, try private school, online public school or even Washtenaw Community...

Jefferson High School

Jefferson High School provides classes to students in grades nine through 12. It comprises various departments, including band, business, English, fine arts, foreign languages, guidance, physical education, industrial arts, math, science and social studies. It also houses a special education department for students with mental, emotional and physical disabilities. Its fine arts department offers painting and drawing, clay art, collage making, and pot painting and decoration. Its guidance department provides counseling and advice for attaining academic and career goals. It has a cafeteria and fitness center; library and media center with Internet abilities, and science and computer labs. The school offers various clubs and organizations, such as the National Honor Society, student council, robotics, drama and auto clubs. Jefferson High School is located in Monroe, Mich.

Rochester Adams High School

Adams High School, located in Rochester Hills, Mich., is a part of Rochester Community Schools. It offers a college preparatory curriculum to more than 1,800 students in grades nine through 12. Its courses include English, social studies, mathematics, science, physical education and health education, humanities and computer science. It offers an academic program that includes technical school preparation, honors and advanced placement. Electives on campus and at its applied technology center allow students to explore a wide range of personal interests and career-related goals. It also encourages students to participate in its extracurricular opportunities in music, art, honor societies, clubs and service organizations, and various sports, including basketball, football and volleyball.
